sustainable cafes in palma de mallorca

palma is a small city filled with bubbling fountains, secret gardens and winding spanish streets that open onto sun soaked plazas. being a tourist destination the city offers many culinary options but it can be a little more difficult to find affordable sustainably sourced food while on the road and without the time to seek them out ahead of time sometimes our values can be compromised. these cafes offer healthy environmentally conscious menus and unique, beautiful settings. I hope this list helps you find what you’re looking for and if you try out any of the recommendations please let me know how it goes as I’d love to add your feedback to the post.

la molienda

la molienda was my first stop when I flew into palma and after a drowsy sunrise flight it was the perfect place to start the day.

stepping into the cozy corner cafe you are enveloped in a lovely atmosphere. wooden swivel chairs, fresh fruits, and vegetables cozy two-top tables, and mallorca art magazines. I tried an almond milk latte and vegan porridge topped with hazelnuts, chia and apples and dried fruit. reasonably priced, health-conscious and all locally sourced.
